Cameron's Story, Age 6

My son Cameron had been suffering with ear infections since he was 6 months old.  I remember walking the floor with him for hours as he screamed in pain.  The medical doctors gave him antibiotics and drops to clear the infection and dull the pain.  By the time he was a year old the Ear Nose and Throat Specialist said he would need tubes in his ears and that would help with the amount of ear infections.  At 18 months we had tubes put in his ears.  He still had infections, more antibiotics and more drops.  My son was in excruciating pain.  A year later they took out the old tubes, put in new ones, and took out his adnoids.  The infections continued and the medical doctor said he would grow out of them.  By the age of 4 my son had over 25 ear infections.  At age 5 it was obvious that my son had hearing loss and could not hear unless he was looking at you.  He was reading my lips.  The doctor gave me a note for him to sit in the front of the class, sent me to a hearing specialist and assured me my son would be okay.  His hearing loss was significant, however according to the specialist not bad enough for a hearing aid.  I wondered just how bad it had to get.  My son's hearing was deteriorating quickly and each time he was tested the prognosis was worse.  I prayed and prayed for an answer.

I met Dr. Sandy and she said, "Let me help."  Oh my goodness what a God-send.  After taking my son to Dr. Sandy I immediatly noticed a difference in my son's ability to hear and his behavior was improving.  Cameron could hear me with his back turned to me.  He hasn't had an ear infection while under care.  When I took him for a follow up hearing test, for the firt time in 7 years, it was normal. 

Praise God.  Thank God for the miracle of Chiropractic care, it saved my son's hearing.  Words cannot describe how I feel.  I am so very grateful!  ~  Roxanne (Cameron's mom)

I couldn't pick up my newspaper in the driveway or put my shoes on to tie my laces -- and most of all was not able to play golf.  Thanks to Dr. Moffitt I am free of pain.  Now I play golf 3 and 4 times a week!

Grace, Age 78

My name is Grace, I'm 78 years old.  My equilibrium had been bothering me for over a year.  It kept getting worse to the point where I couldn't even drive.  My medical doctor kept saying it was my high cholesterol.  Finally she sent me to an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor.  He ordered a balance test which was negative, but he still felt that I had vertigo.  He sent me to a neurologist who did an extensive MRI.  Everything was all right but he also felt that I had vertigo.  No one had an answer to help resovle my dizziness.

My daughter decided to take me to her Chiropractor even thought the neurologist said we would be wasting my money.  She took me to Sandra Bailey with Gonstead Family Chiropractic in Indio.  She took x-rays and started me on a treatment program.  My dizziness went away.  I stopped spinning every which way and I am back to driving a car again!  Now she is working on my lower back to help with chronic diarrhea and it is helping.  I can't say enough for her treatment and how it has helpd me.

Gladys, Age 76

After having been examined  by many different Orthopedists and  taking numerous x-rays, and injections with cortisone and a substance known as Euflexor, and rehabilitation exercises, the out come was always the same. "YOU NEED  SURGERY IN BOTH KNEES. You have osteoporosis." I endured the severe pain with the aid of Aleve, for about 3-4 years.  No surgery for me, I had heard all the horror stories.   One day a friend chided me, "There is only one place left for you Gonstead Chiropractic."  Not wanting to become an invalid, what did I have to lose?  I  called for an appointment to see Dr. Sandra Bailey.  I shuffled into her office with such severe pain, that touching my knees brought tears to my eyes. After the first treatment with Dr. Bailey I walked out with 90% less pain.  I  am continuing my treatments with her, because now I am dancing and walking longer distances, and the pain has been reduced to a point that is acceptable.  Thank you Dr. Bailey.

Mayela, Age 41

My back problems started very early in life.  The very first time I experienced back problems was when I was around 16.  One morning I was unable to get out of bed, my lower back was not responding and I was not able to move my legs.  After that, it was incident after incident.  Since then I've visited doctors, chiropractors, massage therapists and even acupuncture.  I only had temporary relief.  As the years passed my back problems continued to progress and by the end of 2004 the sciatic nerve on my left leg was trapped by a herniated disc.

By March of 2005 I was not able to walk; the pain was so severe that my ability to live a normal life was impossible.  No pain medication was able to take the pain away much less cure the problem.  I was told that my only choice was surgery and my concern was the nerve damage that might occure if it was not taken care of in proper time.  I was in so much pain that I opted for the only solution I was given.  During surgery the doctors had to cut off a small piece of bone for better removal of the spread out disc.  It took me about six months to recover.  Although; my surgery was a complete success, my body remained weak.  I tired easily and after two years my left leg was still partially numb.  What's worse, I started to feel the same kind of pain and numbness on my right leg and this caused me so much anxiety and stress in my neck.  I knew one thing; I did not want to have another surgery, so I looked for the appropriate doctor.

The Lord has placed Dr. Jeremy Moffitt in my path and I am very thankful for that.  Now, after almost for years since the surgery and 16 months of Gonstead Chiropractic I would say 90% of my pain is gone.  I rarely take any pain medication.  The numbness on both my legs is complete ly gone and I feel so much better.   I now live a comfortable life.  I invite people to try it.  They'll feel so much better.  I do!

"I started with Dr. Moffitt at Gonstead Family Chiropractic about 8 weeks ago. I came in with joint pain in both knees caused from an accident 23 years ago. I couldn't run, kneel down, stand or walk much, or even play with my 3 boys. I was always in some kind of pain and taking medicine. Needless to say my quality of life was very low and limiting.
